I have 10 days and I'm a little late to the party...

...to start planning for the Auckland Marathon 11km Traverse.
When I entered I was running the Xterra series, I was in the running groove and didn't spare a thought about planning to fit in more runs and up my running distance from 5-11km.
I should have planned better, if I had it would have meant...
*Clear focus - I knew it was coming up but didn't give it much thought
*Better time management - less time doing other exercise, more time running
* Can better measure progress - can I run 11km, who knows?
* Motivation trumps procrastination - achieving milestones would make me want to do more
However, the lack of planning means while I will give it my best on the day, I won't be at my best which is frustrating. 2nd chance - I have the Waihi Xterra run in 6 weeks. I will do a better job getting more km's under the belt
